Autobiography:  sticky water

I use my personal biography and fuse an expressionist style with contemporary conceptual rigor.  Through inventive recontextualization of domestic violence I have reached a unique interdisciplinary threshold.  I experiment with varying media such as drawing, painting, printmaking, as well as sculpture, performance, and video in order to explore the interconnectedness of personal and world histories, geography, environmental concerns, and the consuming culture.  As such, I am spurred to work on plastic as a material that triggers memory while defining the contemporary underbelly of consumerism.
