Accepting a form, image, text, or word’s inability to fully communicate an idea, I fabricate installations through a set of self-imposed directions that mimic my method of play as a child. Having a penchant for manipulating the domestic interior with hidden code, painted objects, created costumes, and historical fiction I now use sculpture, photography, video, drawing, and painting to create autobiography on a daily basis. Especially entwined in the personal biography is the narration and documentation of the physical, tactile, and material process as defined by the recontextualization of domestic violence.
Another portion of this body of work may be seen locally at East End Applied Arts in the East End Arts District during the month of November and the Winter Art Walk. I am also honored to be included in the
